TESTIMONIALS

"Walking tour of Coimbra with Diogo"

We were very lucky to have Diogo as our guide of the university town of Coimbra. As a university scholar he provided us (Husband Jan-Willem and son Alexander) with a deep understanding of the history and sociology cultural views of the people. Diogo was very generous with his time and answered all our questions. As a Masters scholar, our son Alex was curious about university student life and the studies provided by Coimbra university. To us, having Diogo as our guide, it felt that we were hosted by not just a local guide but as an informative friend. Highly recommended especially if you are travelling with adult children who want to gain an insight into how a town ‘ticks’. Diogo also adapted the tour to suit our timing and interests in the history and sociology-cultural background of Coimbra. Thank you.

“Five stars for a reason”

At time of writing this, this tour has received no less than five star reviews...and I’m certainly not going to deviate.  Oscar’s tour was three hours and it flew by, providing us with a comprehensive overview of Coimbra, it’s history, it’s university and university life (Oscar being an ex-student), and of course, great personal insight. It was clear he knew his stuff, and answered all the questions we had. Highly worthwhile and highly recommended.
